March 14th at 7:00 PM
Pacifica's Center for Philosophy & Theology is pleased to invite you to participate in our guest speaker series, Leisure at the Lyceum, with Pepperdine's Distinguished Professor of Great Books, Paul Contino. Prof. Contino's latest publication, Dostoevsky's Incarnational Realism: Finding Christ among the Karamazovs, provides the inspiration for the evening.
Through our Leisure at the Lyceum speaker series, Pacifica seeks to challenge the assumptions of the broader Los Angeles community. In a fragmented world, we aim to bring together what is being torn apart by setting the table for important conversations, practicing intellectual hospitality, and pursuing truth wherever it may lead.
Doors will open at 6 PM with a courtyard reception, followed by Prof. Contino's talk at 7:00 PM.
