About I grew up with my dad coaching football and baseball, so I was always the little guy on the field teaching the bigger kids how to take handoffs and catch fly balls. Baseball became my first love at around 6 years old, and I got real nerdy about learning every proper mechanic and technique. I've always wanted to follow in my dad's footsteps and teach what I know to the youth. My high school experience was great, and I was part of a team that won sectionals for the first time in over 20 years. We had 16 seniors on the team my freshman year, so they mainly used me as a relief pitcher. However, that gave me a lot of free time in the dugout to watch the coaches and learn the managing side of the game. I am an only child and made the move to California by myself without any other family here. I did rescue the best pup in the whole wide world, though! He's a red husky, and his name is Rocky. He surprisingly doesn't bark and he loves to go hiking with me. |
