Biography

About
While playing basketball at Trinity College, a Division III school in Hartford, CT, I sparked my interest in coaching basketball by helping to develop the Kingswood Oxford Prep School freshman and sophomore players. I truly believe in playing and coaching the game in the fundamentally right way, both physically and mentally. I love to see when things start to click and when teams come together as one unit, whether it's a defense communicating and rotating as one, or an offense making that extra pass.

I have volunteered many seasons of teaching and refereeing youth leagues at the Santa Monica Family YMCA and the Santa Monica Boys and Girls Club. I have also coached several seasons at the AAU level ages 9-14 at SBA - Sterling Basketball Academy. I have a great interest in strength and conditioning, again both physically and mentally, and assist with the Pacifica basketball program's off-season training. When not thinking about basketball, I love spending time, dining out with, and traveling with my wife Monica, and two boys Luca and August.
