My favorite thing about coaching is getting the chance to teach athletes to love the sport the way that I do. Playing volleyball has brought so many wonderful people and opportunities into my life and taught me so much about myself. I love having the chance to give that same gift to my athletes. Playing sports at the Division 1 level was more of a commitment than I realized. It forced me to learn about prioritizing my responsibilities and time management. It also introduced me to friends that will be a part of my life forever. Playing sports in college helped push me to work harder mentally and physically than I knew I was capable of. My favorite book is The Nightingale by Kristin Hannah and I enjoy spending time with my husband Andre, our two daughters Isabella and Havana, and our dog LoLo.
