Friday Night Lights: Boys' Flag Football to Launch this Fall

March 11th, 2025

In Fall 2025, Pacifica Christian High School will introduce boys' flag football, marking an exciting new chapter for student life and athletics. Alongside girls' volleyball, flag football will serve as an anchor for campus traditions, uniting the student body through spirited game-day experiences.

Coming off our all-school retreat in early September, we’ll dive straight into football season, bringing the energy of Friday Night Lights to Pacifica. Imagine tailgates filled with school spirit, pep rallies building up to game time, halftime competitions engaging the crowd, and post-game celebrations like dances, bonfires, or outdoor movie nights. Students can get involved in theme nights, a campus-wide fantasy football league, and even a powder puff game where roles are reversed and the excitement doubles!

Beyond the student experience, flag football will provide another competitive athletic outlet for Pacifica’s talented student athletes. Whether students are looking to try a new sport or enhance their skills, they’ll be part of a program shaped by elite coaches and community support, ensuring a high-level experience.

Pacifica Christian is known for its rigorous college-prep curriculum, where faith and learning are seamlessly integrated, preparing students for top universities. Now, with a top-tier athletic department adding flag football to our fall traditions, our community will be stronger than ever. Expect school-wide buzz, high-energy Friday nights, and a deepened sense of connection among students, faculty, and families.

Get ready, Pacifica—the lights are turning on and a new tradition is about to begin!
