Pacifica Stories

Pacifica has fantastic news to share! Over the past six months, our students have achieved remarkable success, gaining acceptance and matriculating into esteemed institutions such as Stanford, Princeton, Northwestern, West Point, Notre Dame, Dartmouth, Swarthmore, Cal, Michigan, Virginia, Texas, Rice, Tulane, USC, and UCLA. Currently, thirteen Pacifica alums are studying at USC and eight at UCLA. Pacifica is well-represented in the top 25. Alumni have studied at the University of Pennsylvania, University of Chicago, Cornell, Cal Tech, MIT, Emory, North Carolina, Carnegie Mellon, and all the UCs. This accomplishment underscores the quality of a Pacifica education, the caliber of the student body, and our commitment to elite college placement, where Pacifica graduates consistently secure positions in prestigious universities.

Our graduates emerge from Pacifica well-prepared and confident, ready to tackle the challenges that await them in their academic journeys at any college in the country. 

The college counseling process is granular, where students and families embark on a four-year journey of reflection and learning. Students learn more about who they are, the requirements for entrance into specific universities, and everything in between. For instance, it is good for students to know what and how many math and science classes they must take to be competitive for entrance to their dream school. The details matter. It is also wonderful to see students learn more about what makes them tick and more about their gifts and to see them discover their purpose. 

Each June, we celebrate at graduation; in August, we say goodbye as students depart; and in January, we welcome alums at homecoming as we watch them flourish because they are thinking and living well.
