About
In entering my 13th year of teaching in every corner of the education system, I am excited to teach at Pacifica Christian, where I can continue my mission to help every student identify how they can use their unique God-given talents to serve the world. I love working with teenagers to help them identify what makes them unique and to learn difficult concepts and skills in ways that magnify their unique skills so that they can add value to the world. My favorite book is Silence, by Shusaku Endo, because it shows how to handle difficult decisions and remain faithful through challenges, even in a culture that actively rejects Christ. I try to keep Philippians 2:3-4 in my heart in all that I do - "Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit. Rather, in humility, value others above yourselves, not looking out to your own interests, but each of you to the interests of others."
