Early Acceptances in the 2025 College Cycle
February 6th, 2025
As we look ahead to the bittersweet sendoff of the Class of 2025, many students still await college decisions. However, Pacifica is already celebrating some of our early college placements– a growing list of superb acceptances on the heels of impressive matriculations from the Class of 2024. Seniors this year have already been accepted into Harvard University, USC Marshall School of Business, University of Michigan, Georgia Tech, University of Virginia, and UNC Chapel Hill.
Recent graduates are studying at schools all over the country including Stanford, Princeton, Notre Dame, Dartmouth, Tulane, Northwestern, and more. We currently have nine alumni studying at UCLA, five at UC Berkeley, ten at USC, and many others at every other UC. Take a look at all of the colleges that Seawolves have chosen to continue their education.
Pacifica Christian High School’s College Counseling Program focuses on guidance and care, empowering students to navigate the challenging college admissions process with purpose and integrity. At Pacifica, success is not solely defined by grades, accolades, or a packed resume, but by cultivating young men and women who pursue truth and goodness—students who think and live well.
Through a rigorous course schedule, academic excellence, and meaningful extracurricular involvement, Pacifica students work diligently to develop essential skills and knowledge. Yet, their journey goes far deeper. These students are formed to build lives of purpose, not merely impressive resumes. Grounded in faith and guided by a commitment to honor God, bless others, and find joy, Pacificans are prepared to make meaningful contributions to the world after graduation.
In seeing students as whole beings and not just another statistic, our college counseling team, made up of Mr. Fragger and Ms. Kurtenbach, seeks to push students towards where they will thrive post-graduation. For some, this means attending an Ivy League school such as Harvard or Princeton. For others, faith will play a large factor and draw them to schools such as Pepperdine or TCU. Some will want to stay close to home while others will want an adventure across the country. Some seek to enter a four-year institution right away while others will be best served transferring into a larger university after attending a junior college. Our college counselors spend time getting to know each student at Pacifica so that they can guide them to what’s best for their individual person, and our faculty prepare them to succeed wherever they choose to go.
The results of this holistic approach to education are evident in the outstanding college acceptances Pacifica students have achieved. The College Counseling Program at Pacifica spans four years and is designed to honor each student’s unique gifts and aspirations. It provides practical tools for wise decision making and a deeply personal journey that helps students grow in character and confidence.
As Pacifica continues to form outstanding men and women, the school remains committed to fostering an environment where joy, virtue, and excellence intersect, ensuring students leave well prepared for college and lives of significance and service.
