Athletics Awards 2023

Last night, Pacifica celebrated all of our amazing student athletes at our Athletics Banquet. The night began with dinner and was followed by an awards ceremony. Members of all sports were recognized, with specific awards going to two members from each team—the Coaches Award and the Seawolf Award. The Coaches Award is an accolade given to an athlete who demonstrates qualities beyond their sport performance, which entails rising above with leadership, reliability, team commitment, work ethic, and an unselfish attitude. The Seawolf Award is a Pacifica team's MVP, and is given to a player who fulfills the following criteria: unwavering commitment to the team and game, versatility, assists the team, wins on the court or field, and leadership. Additional Special Awards were also presented at the end of the night, which are included below.

SPECIAL AWARDS

BRENDAN WARD	COACH OF THE YEAR AWARD Awarded for exceptional coaching of a Pacifica sports team. Coach Ward led our Boy's Volleyball team to victory this Spring to become CIF Division 6 champions.
SOFIA FIERRO	SEAWOLF SCHOLARSHIP AWARD - GOLD Given to select seniors who display unique dedication, integrity, and strength of character on and off the field in order to help them fund their education beyond Pacifica.
SOFIA LUDWIG & MIA SYMONDS	SEAWOLF SCHOLARSHIP AWARD - SILVER
JULIAN MILNER, ELIJAH MCCOLLUM, & MICHAEL BELACHEW	SEAWOLF SCHOLARSHIP AWARD - BRONZE
KENDALL WILKEN	HALL OF FAME Students who display continued excellence in their sport are inducted into Pacifica's Hall of Fame. Kendall Wilken was inducted for her success and mastery in volleyball.
