Biography
Education B.A. Rollins College; M.A. Yale Divinity School; M.Div. St. Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary About After years of teaching philosophy and theology at Pacifica, I am now serving as the Director of the Center for Philosophy + Theology. In addition to this work, I serve as a priest in the Orthodox Church in America and continue to pursue my academic interests. I have written for blogs, magazines, and peer-reviewed journals, such as Eclectic Orthodoxy, Marginalia Review of Books, International Philosophical Quarterly, and Christian Bioethics, and given guest lectures at institutions like Marquette University, Catholic University of America, and Furman University. My academic interests focus on the concept of theophany in Eastern patristic theology and Platonic metaphysics. I am married to my wife, Danielle, and we have one daughter, Cordelia.
