Student Outcomes These outcomes represent characteristics that all Pacifica Christian High School students should possess upon graduation as they prepare to navigate through post secondary life. Critical Thinkers, who will identify, access, integrate, and use available information in order to reason, analyze, solve complex problems and make decisions in different settings. Adaptable Problem Solvers, who anticipate, assess and resolve the problems and challenges that accompany the rapidly changing political, economic, environmental and social conditions of modern life. Effective Communicators, who speak and write with clarity, style, and purpose and employ technology as a method of delivery. Spiritual Learners, who demonstrate in the analysis of academic subjects the unity of faith and learning, possess foundational knowledge of the Old and New Testaments, understand the centrality of Jesus Christ as revealed in Scripture, understand the Biblical basis for a personal relationship with Jesus Christ within the context of historic orthodox Christianity, and are developing Christian virtues in peer, classroom, and community relationships. Self-Guided Achievers, who set priorities and achievable goals, create options for themselves, monitor and evaluate their progress, take responsibility for their own learning, choices and actions and maintain their own physical and mental health. Involved Citizens, who demonstrate compassion for those in need, are knowledgeable about the democratic system, value service, demonstrate courtesy, good manners, respect, and integrity, and show love and respect for all groups of people regardless of ethnicity, gender, religion, nationality, or socio-economic status. Collaborative Workers, who use effective leadership and group skills to cultivate and manage interpersonal relationships within culturally and organizationally diverse settings with confidence and self-motivation.
